Google and The World Cup

No other sporting event captures the world's imagination like the FIFA World Cup. Since the first tentative competition and wireless parking sensor in Uruguay in 1930 and FIFA's International Football Association) flagship growing popularity and prestige.

A group of visionary French football administrators, in the 20th century, 20 years of innovative leadership of Jules Rimet, are credited to the state of the world's most powerful team in world title contention with the original idea. The original Jules Rimet's name gold cup holes, and 30 years in the 20th century before World War II 3 times controversial, the 12 years to stop the race.

The World Cup starts in three days, and soccer (or football, depending on where you live) fans all over the world get into a collective craze that’s hard to compare to any other sporting event.

We’ve seen Google() change its logo for big events before, but this time it chose parking sensor kits to do something different.

If you search for “World Cup” in Google, you’ll get a list of the upcoming World Cup games, but if you scroll to the bottom, you’ll see that the other Google logo, stationed above the result page numbers, has changed to Goooooooal!

Given that Google recently granted users the option to create custom homepages, one has to wonder whether Google will lose its visual identity. Perhaps Google has become so big that it’s synonymous with the concept of search, and thus the visuals don’t play that big a part anymore?

  1. For the price this scanner does not only scan but is a dianostic tool. You can reprogram keys after getting the key code from the dealer and providing proof of ownership for free. Also you can reset ABS and re-program certain module's on some cars although not all. You need autelbuy a J2534 tool for that to get complete re-programming capablilty. However for what you pay for it, it can do idle relearn's, calibrate the right seat Occupant Classification System module, and do deep body scans of your entire car/truck. You will be amazed how many items you have for it to scan. The radio on the newer cars are VIN coded and this can reprogram a replacement to work. Every thing newer then 2010 is getting very VIN specific and very detailed and difficult to replace a part without a tool like this. A basic OBD 2 will Autel DS708 not do the job anymore. It does what it needs to do and does a very good job. For some cars/trucks older then 2010 it sometimes needs you to tell it what car it is, yet other times it finds it automaticly. Not much of an issue but some things don't work on some cars becasue they are still working on the software and updating it alot. For the price however you are getting a smoking hot deal. I just wish it was cheaper then $800 per year to update. I think that is too much. The first year is free. The fact that this scanner comes with all the connectors needed to work with older 1996 vehicles is awesome. You get basic OBD 1 codes easily displayed with this scanner.
